FLYP is Family Lifeline’s young professional council with a mission to develop and empower young professionals to assume leadership roles at work and in the community. The council works to cultivate support for Family Lifeline, its mission, and programs through volunteer, social, and fundraising activities. What is FLYP?

Currently, FLYP is involved in the following events:

  • Talk Live - FLYP’s Signature Event is a TED-style event that engages, informs, and inspires professionals of all ages to advance their careers and harness their talents to make a difference in the Richmond community.

  • Baskets of Cheer - FLYP organizes volunteers to create and deliver friendly baskets of goodies to older adults brightening their holiday season.

  • Choco! Silent Auction - FLYP assists in all planning and execution of the silent auction for Family Lifeline’s largest fundraising event, Choco!

  • Social Events - FLYP meetings are not just for business. FLYP is a space to grow your personal and professional network at regularly scheduled social events.
