ACCESSING SERVICES

Family Lifeline believes that every individual deserves the opportunity and resources to live their best life. When someone enters our system, we assess and determine the level of support required.

Early Childhood Home Visitation Services focuses on bringing support and information to help parents recognize their child’s potential throughout the stages of growth and development using the Parents as Teachers curriculum. These services take place in the home through bi-weekly visits that last about an hour. These services are available to pregnant women and families with children up to school age in Richmond, Henrico, Hanover and Petersburg. These services are both free and voluntary.

  
Home Care Services support your loved ones by assisting with basic activities of daily living. This care takes place on-site in your loved one’s home and is customized to their individual needs. We currently serve the following areas: Richmond, Chesterfield and Henrico. These services can accessed through Medicaid (CC+ age waiver or DD waiver), acceptance of grants from various associations, or private pay. 

 

 


Care Coordination Services links older adults, persons with disabilities and their familial caregivers to services and resources in a coordinated manner to maximize independence and assist individuals in reaching their optimal level of health. These services take place in the home. We currently serve the following areas: Richmond, Chesterfield and Henrico. These services are both free and voluntary.

Visiting Volunteer Services links older adults with a friendly visiting volunteer to help meet the social and emotional needs of that individual. These visits take place in the home on a weekly basis. We currently serve Richmond, Chesterfield and Henrico. These services are both free and voluntary.
