Friendly Baskets of Cheer
We will be delivering Friendly Baskets of Cheer on Wednesday and Thursday, December 8 and 9, between 11AM and 4PM. We are grateful for the many community members who have volunteered to make the deliveries. Because of COVID, the delivery drivers will be dropping baskets off to each participant.
If this is your first year as a participant or a volunteer, this annual activity is our special way of bringing cheer into the homes of our participants and other community elders. It also allows members of our FLL organization and community to see in action our mission of bringing hope into the homes of older adults and persons with disabilities.
By participant Mr. James Gilmer
I'm sending you this hello
to tell you today
how happy I am
that you passed my way.
You are more than just names and faces.
You are part of God's love
and each of us has a place
within Him. Always.
Send each other Thanksgiving, Holiday & Happy New Year cards!
To all born in November!
