Parent Educator

Richmond

Full-time

Parent Educators at Family Lifeline are passionate about working with children and families. Family Lifeline is a dynamic non-profit organization providing early childhood home visitation services for pregnant women and families with young children living in the Greater Richmond area. Our parent educators partner with families to provide culturally informed pre-natal and parent education, family support, and linkage to community resources.

 

Must be fluent in English. Requirements include current VA driver’s license, good driving record, and your own reliable transportation. Optimal experience includes parenting education, early childhood development and/or home visitation. College degree preferred; H. S. Diploma and 2 years supervised experience with young children and/or parents required.

Salary: $36,000 annually.

Community Health Nurse

Richmond

Full-time

Community Health Nurses at Family Lifeline are passionate about working with children and families. Family Lifeline is a dynamic non-profit organization providing early childhood home visitation services for pregnant women and families with young children living in the Greater Richmond area. This is community health at its best. Our nurses work with a parent educator and clinical social worker to provide culturally informed prenatal and health education and care management. This is a Monday – Friday job. No nights or weekends.

 

Optimal experience: women’s health, child health, early childhood development, and/or home visitation. The ability to speak Spanish is a plus. Requirements include current VA registered nurse license; current VA driver’s license; good driving record; and reliable transportation. 

Salary: $51, 000 annually

Clinical Social Worker

Richmond
Full-time

Job duty overview: Provide culturally informed social-emotional assessments, behavioral health intervention and case management in an innovative early childhood home visitation program. This program provides services to pregnant women and at-risk families with young children. Work within a team structure of a parent educator and community health nurse.

 

Requirements: Master’s in Social Work required; driver’s license; and reliable transportation. Optimal experience includes work with maternal depression, substance use, and intimate partner violence. Bilingual (Spanish) candidates encouraged to apply (not required).

Salary: $42, 500 annually.
