Clothing and Housing Items Support

Resource connection can be hard to navigate, at Family Lifeline our mission is to connect families and individuals with all resources for a safe and healthy home. For support in navigating and connecting with community services, check out our Accessing Services page for a form that gets you access to our partner agencies throughout Richmond and Petersburg. 

Mercy Mall

Offers free clothing, housewares, baby items, and more to individuals and families overcoming the many obstacles to home and life stability. They also offer seasonal assistance during the winter/ Christmas and during back-to-school

 

*Appointments are necessary, and our Parent Educators can help get you connected.

*Offers services in mainly English, but Spanish is offered depending on volunteer availability.

Eligibility: Those who are experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, unemployment/ underemployment, sudden emergency relocation, and extreme poverty. Also available to those with physical and/ or mental disabilities, who are recovering from substance abuse, and those who have experienced human trafficking.

Little Hands

Provides individualized support through donated items to families with young children in areas such as comfort, development, early literacy, or safety.

 

**Little Hands offers support through partner request only, so families would have to be enrolled in a program such as Family Lifeline.
